Hartiatoys® System Requirements

Netscape Navigator 4.0 (or better) OR
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or better)

Apple Quicktime 3.0 (or better)

No particular hardware is necessary to view hartiatoys®. A personal computer with a Pentium Processor for Windows, or a Power PC processor for Macintosh are sufficient. For best viewing at least 32 Mb of RAM are necessary. A faster computer will above all facilitate viewing of the QuickTime VR objects.

Compatible operating systems for hartiatoys® are: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or MacOS 7.5 and higher. A modem with a connection speed of at least 28.8 kbps is necessary; a faster connection will allow better interactivity and better quality of the QTVR objects. In addition, this web site is optimally viewed with a monitor of at least 800x600 pixels and 16 bit color mode (65536 colors or "thousands of colors" for Macintosh users).

QuickTime
QuickTime is a plugin by Apple Computer for viewing of videos, audio tracks and panoramic images created with Quick Time Virtual Reality. On Apple Macintosh computers this plugin is often already installed at the time of purchase. Windows users will have to install it separately. As QuickTime is a system component with a vast number of uses (not just for hartiatoys® and not even just for internet!), it is often found on multimedia CD-ROMs. If you have installed and used a CD-ROM of this kind over the last few years there's a good chance that the plugin required by hartiatoys® is already installed and functioning on your computer. Version 3.0 or higher is necessary for viewing of hartiatoys®.
